Brandon L. is the founder of Cavalier Consulting, bringing more than two decades of hands-on experience in enterprise technology, infrastructure implementation, and executive-level IT strategy. 

Brandon’s journey in technology began at age 13 with a discarded computer and a passion for learning through hands-on experimentation. By high school,  the IT department would ask Brandon to test the security of their devices.  Working as an integration technician for DataLine, serving clients like Maersk and Ferguson. For his senior project, he built a custom water-cooled server, earning school-wide recognition for his technical mastery.

By high school, Brandon was already working in professional IT environments, supporting major enterprise clients such as Maersk and Ferguson as a technician. He later studied Computer Engineering and Business Management while continuing to build his technical skills through real-world lab experimentation and professional projects. His early career highlights include award-winning innovation at Navy Federal Credit Union, where he developed a real-time data visibility solution that increased contact center productivity by 19%.

Brandon has led large-scale technology initiatives for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations across North America. He served as Director of IT for a national nonprofit, where he overhauled the organization’s technology infrastructure across 36 states, standardized equipment and mobile device management, built data governance and analytics departments from the ground up, and launched a nationwide support desk to serve hundreds of offices. He has also advised national sister organizations and their parent entity on technology integration, shared services, and mobile-first workforce solutions.

His consulting career has included roles with global firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, and Capgemini, as well as extensive hands-on experience with custom CRM implementations, network deployments across multi-acre campuses, and disaster recovery systems. Brandon is known for his ability to translate complex technical landscapes into practical, scalable solutions that increase operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support organizational growth.

Today, Brandon leads Cavalier Consulting as a trusted partner to businesses and nonprofits alike. Through Technology Consulting and Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) services, he delivers executive-level insight and implementation support to organizations seeking to modernize, streamline, or scale their operations.
