Brandon Lind
Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Brandon founded Cavalier Consulting in 2017 after two decades building and leading technology capabilities for national corporations and nonprofit networks. His career spans Fortune 500 enterprises including Maersk and Ferguson, where he developed expertise in large-scale technology operations, to building complete IT departments from the ground up for mission-driven organizations serving thousands of staff nationwide.
His approach to technology advisory is rooted in pragmatic, hands-on experience rather than theory. Brandon has architected and deployed enterprise mobility solutions for over 1,000 devices, implemented organization-wide security frameworks, designed custom reporting portals, and guided leadership teams through complex technology transformations. He's led development teams of 15+ engineers, managed multi-million dollar technology budgets, and successfully delivered production systems under aggressive timelines.
What sets Brandon apart is his ability to translate technical complexity into strategic clarity. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic leader who demonstrates quiet confidence, includes subject matter experts effectively, and maintains perspective even in challenging situations. His wry sense of humor and collaborative approach make complex technology decisions more approachable for boards and executive teams.

Beyond his consulting work, Brandon is committed to community service as a past Rotary President and active volunteer. He regularly participates in the Great American Teach In, introducing students to technology careers and inspiring the next generation of technology leaders.
Brandon was very knowledgeable in Information Technology Management and served as a mentor to me throughout that first year of my journey. He built a capability from the ground up to support staff with their technology needs nationwide.
